How to use the MileageWise App

Welcome to MileageWise! Our app, combined with the Web Dashboard, offers a comprehensive solution for mileage tracking and managing your mileage logs. Whether you’re on the go or at your desk, MileageWise ensures your mileage logs are accurate, IRS-Proof, and easy to manage.

Getting Started

1. Download & Install: Start by downloading the MileageWise app from the App Store or Google Play. After installation, a short slideshow will guide you through the basic features of the app.

2. Create an Account: If you haven’t created an account yet, tap “Get Started” on the slideshow. 

3. Vehicle Setup: After creating your account, register the vehicle(s) you’ll be using to track mileage. This step is crucial for ensuring accurate logs.

4. Login: If you’ve already registered, simply log in using your email and password. Your data from the Web Dashboard will automatically sync with the app, including clients, vehicles, and previous trips.

Key Features of the MileageWise App

The MileageWise app offers several features designed to make mileage tracking simple and efficient:

• Multiple Tracking Options: Choose from automatic tracking options like Car Bluetooth Monitoring, Phone Charge Monitoring, or Vehicle Movement Monitoring. These features minimize data and battery usage while ensuring your trips are recorded accurately.

• Manual Trip Logging: Prefer manual control? Log your trips with a single tap whenever you arrive at your destination. This method also helps conserve battery life.

• Client & Location Management: Easily add new clients/locations on the go. The app automatically suggests nearby businesses, or you can manually search and add them.

• Refueling & Odometer Tracking: Track your refuelings/chargings and record your end-of-month odometer readings directly in the app.

• Waze Integration: Plan your route in advance with Waze. The app will pre-record your trip and guide you to your next client/location seamlessly.

While the MileageWise app is powerful on its own, the Web Dashboard offers additional features for fine-tuning your simple mileage log. From a desktop or laptop, you can:

• Finalize Mileage Logs: Make sure everything is accurate before submission.
• Reconstruct Past Logs: Need to catch up on past records? The Web Dashboard makes this process easy.
• Bulk Data Import: Manage clients and locations in bulk with ease.

Tips for Maximum Efficiency

If you’re short on time, track your trips with the app during the month and then finalize your logs using the Web Dashboard at the end of the month.
